Also I picked-up a funky little rangefinder wanna-be, a Konica C35 V. This looks like a RF camera, but it isn't. It's more, or less like a P&S camera as it uses pictograms instead of a distance scale. The pictograms are of 1,2, and 3 people, and there's an infinity setting. There are f/stops from 2.8 to 16, and AUTO. The f/stops are more than likely for setting an electronic flash.

I've never seen or heard of a Konica C 35 V. Was is a cheapened version of the Konica C35? Did "V" mean "viewfinder", as in "no rangefinder"?
It probably has the same lens as the C35, however, which many people will tell you is quite sharp and contrasty. I have used one myself. Judging from the second-hand market, the C35 was quite popular beyween about 1969 and 1975.

I wrote most of this for camerapedia a couple of years ago - plus photos of my Konicas www.camerapedia.org/wiki/Konica_C35As in all the Wikis, people's constant alterations - though probably correct - make a nonsense of the original text! That's why I no longer contribute. Paul

The C35 V is a zone-focus or viewfinder camera - much like the Olympus Trip.
Nice small camera with a good lens.
