What's going on? An uncovered bridge - don't you have decency laws about that kind of thing?
Nice picture anyway. Seems a shame that while a long lens is longer, an excellent short lens is also longer - takes away some of the magic of the wide lens, if you know what I mean...?

Actually this bridge is made from the trusses of a building that was torn down as part of the project to uncover this waterway. I have a 12-24 zoom but got the 24mm because it becomes a 35mm on the DSLR--that's one of my favorite focal lengths--and it's faster than the zoom. I suspect I'll use it a lot on our upcoming China trip as it isn't as heavy or bulky as a zoom. On our Europe trip I found I used WA a lot more than tele.
