Alex,
Yours is a beautiful, eclectic, well displayed collection to be proud of. And virtually dust free as well.

The cases are neat, and you have quite a nice and enjoyable collection. I actually also like the mixture of cameras, phones, etc. displayed together.

A very nice collection, Alex, and beautifully displayed. Everything looks in very good condition, so either you were exceptionally lucky finding them or you've done quite a lot of refurbishing. I know from previous postings that you refurbished some of the telephones, and I guess some of the cameras too. I used to collect/accumulate all sorts of things - cameras, clocks, watches, sewing machines, 1/43 scale diecast cars and trucks, automobilia like badges, lamps, mascots etc, telephones (I had a couple of the old 'daffodil' type telephones) - but I just ran out of space so I sold almost all except the cameras, and had to prune my accumulation of those as well. At the moment most of my cameras are packed in boxes as I'm gradually moving everything into my new bedroom/office/den downstairs, but when they're unpacked they'll be on open shelves not in nice display cabinets like yours. I know I've got a big old Victorian house, but there are five family living here, four of us suffering from collector/accumulator syndrome, and even young Luke is showing signs of it at 7 years old. Also we often get friends staying for odd weekends. There will be 10 here for Christmas this year, and possibly a couple more friends as well for Christmas dinner. Someone once said that family and possessions expand to fill the available space. How true! But then I've always been a gregarious sort of person and would much rather live in a crowded somewhat untidy clutter than in a half-empty 'show house'. One very good point about it, I'm not lonely in my old age. . I really feel for people who live on their own, especially at this time of year. PeterW
