If you don't believe it, just try this experiment.
Put your dog and your spouse in the trunk of the car for an hour.
When you open the trunk, see who is really happy to see you?

I did that awhile back. And...Sassy the ever affectionate dorgy-worgy jumped up and down and licked me to seemingly no end.
Wifey...she bit me, cussed me out and took away my allowance...LOL
