Due to a little questioning and prodding by Bob (vintageslrs), I did a search and came up with 8 new Cosina Models we have never seen before. I've also added a few more photos of some models, all Cosina.

Hi guys: I'm still confused (which is nothing new! ) I assume that if the Pentax P30t is Cosina built, then my P3n's are too, since the P30T is the European designator for the same camera. But what about my Ricoh's? On the earlier lists, the Kr5 Super II and Xr1 were listed. Now they're gone. Did we eliminate them from the list? My KR5 Supers were never on the list, but I think that the only difference was the max shutter speed, and LED meter. But maybe I'm all wet. Wouldn't be the first time!

Anything that was eliminated from the list was mistakenly thought to be made by Cosina. We have gotten pretty thourough since then.

It's amazing the amount of Cosina made cameras that are still popping up 3 years after we started this project of cataloging them. Be on the lookout folks, you never know what's going to show up next. ;D

I have a theory that Cosina actually made Randy....... and Bob (vintageslrs) and of course Ron Herron too. ;D But not PeterW...no way...perhaps Zenit made PeterW ;D Bob

Sorry to upset your theory, Bob. But wrong. I was taking snaps long before Zenits were born. Maybe Zeiss Ikon? That was born two years before me PeterW

Peter, at least he didn't say the guy that invented the caveman drawings camera.

I STILL have a pile of Nikons. Considering starting a collection of Ricoh SLRs and RFs.

Randy,
Late getting into this, but I really enjoyed the Cosina study. I read Herb Keppler as a kid (was it Popular or Modern Photography)? Looking through the list I realized that I owned a few Cosinas as a kid and recently just bid on one for the collection - a Nikon FM-10.
Take care, Mark
