This is my first photo for 2009. It was very cold and still this morning, and mist was rising from the river. I grabbed this shot with my little Canon G9 P&S then promptly headed to a nearby restaurant for coffee and a light breakfast :-) Gene

Since I think I have licked my problem of being unable to post photos. And since this thread is about mallards. And since this duck has been waiting so patiently. Herewith my mallard. Pentax K100D. Tamron Adaptall 80 to 210 mm lens. Lots of wasted pictures. Mickey
