Here's some shots taken with the old Voigtlander Vitessa on Fuji 200. This old locomotive and tender are on display in a park in Oroville, Ca. I don't know enough about locomotives to identify it, but it is interesting that the park is named Baldwin Park. Lone kayak on the Feather River Trying to find a hood --the old lens is pretty prone to flare. Comments and critique welcome! Enjoy, Roy

Nice shots Roy, I believe the locomotive is an 0-6-0 made by Baldwin Locomotive Works.

Tried to figure out the square in the first photo but the second explained it before I read your post. Distinctive lens flare from certain Voigtlanders. What size hood do you need? I have two different clip ons a 310/32 flared style or straight clip on and I still owe you for that lens mount. (old but I never forget a favour owed)

Curt: The lens is the f2 Ultron, and it measures approx. 32 mm in diameter. But Curt, you don't owe me anything! but i would take one of those hoods Thanks for looking guys, and for the comments. The Ultron is pretty sharp. On the original hi-res scan, the kayak stays sharp under pretty big magnification. The camera had some light leaks when I got it, but I think I got those fixed. Roy

Roy
Lucky you, now I am a bit jealous of that barn door Vitessa. Sure looks like it works well, enjoy that great camera.
