Sherri, If you like pictures of old decrepit things (apart from my avatar ) How about these old railway carriages? I came across them some years ago, when I could still walk through undergrowth like this, but they're now long gone except for a few rotted bits of wood buried in the brambles. Don't remember what camera I used but the film was FP4 developed, no doubt, in my usual ID11 for the usual 8mins @ 20°C PeterW

Peter, it's things exactly like that that really appeal to me! They just look so lost and folorn and forgotton about. Life moved on and they just got left behind!!! And the fact that they are black and white just add to that entire feel. Don't know what it says about me that those kind of things appeal

What a feeling of time passing by! Great shot, Peter!
I keep a camera loaded with B/W just for things like that. Roy

Hi Sherri - nice to see you posting again! If you like the derelict shots, try this one (I posted it years ago!). I think the fact that it's in colour sets off the rust! Regards - John

It's good to be posting again, John. I just kind of got sidetracked with other things, but decided it was time to get back to some of the hobbies I used to enjoy. You're definitely right here though, the fact that it's in color does play up the rust and decay. I never shoot B+W film, so I have to settle for converting it. I'll have to go digging through some of my "derelict" photos and see what I can find over the weekend.
