Test Roll, Argus A3

Found this little camera for $5 at a local flea market and for that, thought it might look cute sitting on a shelf. Got it home, figured out what it was and how it worked and spent this past week running a test roll through it. I was surprised when most of the photos came out.












Colors look a little better irl. Focusing is done by guestimate...I definitely either need to get better at that...or shoot everything set for infinity. I really enjoyed playing with this little camera!

Great A3 and awesome price. Just curious in your photo it looks like you don't have the lens extended. You probably already know it pulls out and turns to lock so I'm assuming its an optical illusion kinda thing.

Jack thanks for the site....that's actually where I went to find out about the camera....and also what has me watching a whole bunch of Argus options, lol.
Curt, when I got the camera, the lens was actually open. It took me a day or two to figure out that it closed and how. But I think you're right that it's closed in the photo...I just took it out of the case for the photo and probably didn't think to open it.
Thanks Randy! I was just pleased to get anything even remotely postable for a first roll.

Still Have my A3. I love the Art Deco Look. It actually has a built-in exposure meter you can use but I forget how it works.
