This old brick wall in De Leon, TX is called the "Wall of Recall". Nikomat FTn w/ Nikkor 50mm f2 lens on expired Kodak BW400CN print film. I thought it was a neat picture from a very old community in central TX. If you look closely you can see the artifact from previous wall painting from years prior. Now that I have camera collecting under control I will - as promised - try to get into actual photography! Critique welcome. Take care, Mark

Mark,
I would like to see the wall in colour. The old paintings and the watermelons must be quite colourful even if faded.
Why "the Wall of Recall"? Would my memory improve if I stood by it?

Mark, I really like this photo. I think that every locale has interesting artwork/aging commercial areas that are picturesque like this one. They deserve to be preserved. This has made me think of several in my area that I should go shoot. Well done, Thanks
Roy
even if it was done with a N***n ;D

I know Roy - I'm the same way with Canon's: I don't have any, and see a lot for sale, but to start down that trail would roll me out of the good graces of my wife in no time! I could go crazy with it!
When I was a kid we had an A-1 and an AE-1 program in the house. We sent them both in to a shop in New Braunfels, TX for repairs and the repair center LOST them both (!) so the shop awarded us a then-new Ricoh XR-P Multi Program with motor drive and zoom for our troubles. LOVED that Ricoh and wouldn't mind collecting them either...
My wife pretends not to notice another Nikon or Minolta on the shelf though!
