Hi!
This summer I spent travelling around Ukraine and of course I had to visit the famous camera factory in Kiev. The arsenal camera factory was just like in the many pictures I have seen and it was right next to the underground station named after it, so it was quite easy to find. Next to the main building there was a shop that selled their products and also some other collectable cameras too. In the main building there was a small museum with only 2 rooms. Most of the things there told the non-camera related history of the factory. But when I got to the few shelves of cameras I was surprised. There was 3 Kiev 6x6 cameras there that had been in space. One of them was with a cosmonaut I did not recognise, one was the only one that survived down to earth while the whole crew died (the leather was quite scorched) and the last was the camera that was with juri gagarin himself when he made his trip to space. And attached is a picture of this camera.
