Built after the merger of Hudson and Nash--may I present the 1958 Rambler! Driven to work by a colleague! Spot F 55mm 1.7 SMC Tak 400 BWCN Sholda used a polarizor on this one and knocked the glare off the window Believe me, you don't want to see this one in a color pic! It's the most bilious shade of green you have ever seen! Roy

My wife had an old Rambler Ambassador when we got married in 1970. Powder blue beast, it was. I'm looking for a picture. ----- By the way, that isn't a personalized license plate, is it?

A bit homely, IMO. I wonder what Boyd Coddington could have done with it? (Or Chip Foose, Sam Barris, Bill Cushenberry, Troy Trepanier...)

Aha, finally a convert to my dark side. Once Chip Foose makes these popular everyone's gonna want to have their own Rambler and then I'll be trendy, oohohoho. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/7356924@N02/1187670068/" title="Front view, 1966 Rambler Classic 550 by Canuck Curt, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1247/1187670068_d25d8e6db0.jpg" width="500" height="307" alt="Front view, 1966 Rambler Classic 550" /></a>[/img]

This is the car that my friend drove when he was in high school. His Dad would not let him have any other car, figured he couldn't get in trouble with this one! Guess he didn't know about the reclining seats ;D He drove it until he graduated, then replaced it when he earned enough on his own to afford another car. The vehicle sat in a field for years until a few months ago when he got it started, and now it runs quite well, thank you. Still ugly though! hee, hee, hee Roy

There's a lot of old Rambers running around here.

I remember Ramblers as being mechanically terrible. It's true that they were inexpensive cars, but most of those whom I knew that had them, got trouble shortly after 15,000 miles.

Geez, that's strange, Mine has 46,000 miles and runs fine even though it's a 1966.
