Whilst at the Air Display yesterday, I saw a bloke who's gear (waterproof Parka, monopod and HUGE lens) screamed "sports photographer". (Not my photo, courtesy of Radio NZ) This morning, by sheer coincidence the very man, Peter Bush, veteran photojournalist & sports photographer, was being interviewed by Chris Laidlaw, ex-allblack (NZ international rugby football representative), politician, bureaucrat, diplomat and now broadcaster. Bush began his PJ career with a glass plate Speed Graphic, so his musings on technology & the photographers' art are invaluable. His life story is also fairly epic & will, I think, appeal to many members. here's the podcast: podcast.radionz.co.nz/sun/sun-20091115-1010-Peter_Bush-048.mp3
