Well, all my letters are Dear Johns, but that's something I've learned to live with... This is a letter to an advice column run by somebody called John
"Dear John
I hope you can help me. The other day I set off for work leaving my husband in the house watching TV. My car stalled about a mile down the road, and refused to start. I had to walk back to get my husband to help me. When I got home I couldn't believe my eyes. My husband was in bed with our neighbour's 19 year-old daughter. I am 32, my husband is 34, and we have been married for ten years. He admits he's been having an affair for the last six months, but refuses to go for counselling. and I am a total wreck. I so much need your help - Sheila"
"Dear Sheila
A car stalling after being driven a short distance can be caused by several faults with the engine. Start by checking that there is no debris in the fuel line. If it is clear, check........."
Regards - John !!

Yeah. Over here we've alway considered British cars unreliable. If I was her I would check the electrical system first.

Didn't think there were many British cars in Britain. Most seem to be imports.

She should trade the car and her husband in for a more faithful version of each .... Robert

Dear Sheila,
If you are a total wreck you surely can't blame your husband for seeking a more up to date and better appointed model.
