I recently bought a Minolta 7s. I find it a little heavy but it is fairly easy to use. I cleaned the viewfinder - my very first ever camera repair! This is a portrait of my favorite subject which I took with the Minolta.
(Yes he's missing an eye - we rescued him as a tiny kitten after an attack that damaged his eye. We haven't told him and he can't count anyway so he's none the wiser)
This is from a scan of a print. I like the bokeh of the lens and the softness - it is not a harsh lens in my view. The camera is not much fun to carry araound because of the weight so I wouldn't consider it as a "take everywhere" camera.
