It was about 50 years ago I had a part time job taking pictures for the local news paper social page .. at the time most of the photography was done using 5x4 sheet film cameras* but with all the new 35mm cameras that appeared on the market the paper purchased some new cameras the head photographer got the new Nikon .. myself and the other part-time workers got Werras.The German glass gave far better results that the very expensive Nikon..
* The cameras( Speed Graphic type) had been modified so 2 images 2 1/2 X 4 could be taken on each sheet of film.. was a real bugger way of working
