Don't belittle gathering dust.
For years I have been conscientiously dusting my collection in a losing battle. Then it occurred to me that the very dust that I have so labouriously been removing was actually designed by mother nature to protect the finish of those precious instruments.
Now I do nothing, sit back with my feet up and watch the protective dust collect with a clear conscience and a smug feeling of doing right for future generations.
I believe this miraculous process is called rationalization.
