Thanks Ron. That looks very useful. I'd better practice with a test roll to get the feel of it.

...well, 150+ cameras later (and I branched out considerably from Mamiya), I still find myself prowling flea markets, estate sales and eBay! ;D 150??!! Crikey. I think my entire collection is around 10 and was thinking it's getting unmanageable... Gene I'm getting close guys, I just bought number 100!!!

addictive, ain't it! Actually, I've been thinking it might be time to "thin the herd" a bit. I have MANY duplicates of some Mamiya models (not all of them work...some were just for "parts" as needed)...and some I have not taken out to shoot with in years. Others are just to look at, even when they work. Maybe it's an early indication of spring fever (or winter cabin fever ), but my camera room has never seemed so cramped and messy before!

addictive, ain't it! Sheesh! Just when I thought I had stabilized, Rick put his Zorki 4 and lenses up for sale and I couldn't resist. I've previously owned a couple of Zorkis and somehow just get a kick out of them. They're so clunky and unpretentious, yet they take very good photos. And the lowly Jupiter 8 is one of my fav 50mm lenses... Here we go again! Gene

I'm pretty much powered down on additional acqusitions now (unless a really good deal on a medium range Nikkor zoom comes up). I've lost my urge to get any more FSU cameras. I have some gear I would probably sell except it would be more trouble than it is worth. One of these days my mate will probably start complaining about all the space the gear takes up.
Right now I'm trying to get my focus on remodeling the bathroom we totally gutted four months ago. That's gonna cost more than Nikon's top-of-the-line digital SLR. Got back from our cruise two weeks ago and have to leave Monday for a week in Cody, Wyoming (business) then it's back to the real world for the rest of the year. So, nobody tempt me!
