Does anyone know where one might get some 5247 film processed? That's the stuff that Seattle Film Works and Dale Labs used to sell. I found several old exposed rolls of it from-------------------longer ago than I wish to admit! Roy

Rec'd reply from Dale's. They no longer process 5247, and have no idea who might. Looks like it's gone the way of the dodo bird and passenger pigeon. Oh well, serves me right for not processing it when I shot it. Roy

Would it not be worthwhile processing it yourself as black and white on the rare chance you might get some images?

As much as we gather information about obsure old cameras, one would think that maybe somewhere out on the world wide web, someone has the proper recipe for processing that film. I did find this lab with Google: www.rockymountainfilm.com/ecn.htm

Thanks for the link, Ron. I'm afraid that at a total price of $46.50 per roll, with a turn around time of 8 months to a year, the film will sit a while longer Mickey--how would you soup it as b&w? Just run it as if it were std B/W film? I think this stuff has some sort of backing under the emulsion that makes it difficult to process. Used a lot of it "back in the day" when it was offered free when you had a roll processed. It was kinda neat stuff to use, with very wide exposure latitude, and prints or slides or both available.
