Have bought a couple of Yashicas in recent weeks - a J, and a Minister III. Venturing into the world of guesswork now, with the addition of a Yashica M, plus wide, standard and portrait lenses.
Time to experiment!

Hi John, They're all nice cameras to work with. I have 2 J's, a Minister D, and a Minister ll. The M is I believe an early version of the Minister. I have one of these too. In total I have 25 RF Yashicas I've picked up over the years. My favourites are the YK, Campus, J, Lynx 5000, M, and of course the Lynx 14. Now that's a big chunk of glass. I'm curious to see your work with these and your view on the M. I look forward to your posts.

Hi Curt, Yes, was a bit unsure about the M. The seller said she couldn't see a model number, but it's there - bottom left. So you think it's a Minister Mk I ? Well the Minister is an upmarket version of the J, so I should manage to get to grips with it. Now I encounter the big problem with R/Fs - definitely not WYSIWYG, but I'm pretty sure these are M42's, so I'll bolt them on to a Praktica to familiarise myself with the angles before trying anything. Regards - John
