For fathers day I received two new cameras, (sorry no pictures yet) First is a Sears KS-1 (A rebranded Ricoh XR-6) and a full complament of Sears/Ricoh lenses, first an 80-200 true zoom with Macro, A sears 2.8 135mm, A sears 55mm f1.8 and a 3x converter. All are in near mint condition. The next is an early model Pentax K-1000, It's a little rough around the edges but everything works. That makes no. 39 and 40 in my meager collection.
Then on my birthday 6-29 I was in a local antique mall and found a Sears 28mm lens in great condition with case for the large sum of $10.00
the best thing is all the lenses are in PK mount and will work on the K-1000.
Ain't life grand. Galen

Ain't it though, when it's good it is very good. Good catches all and versatile too.

Thanks all for the replies. I've shot a roll of old kodak gold 200 through the Ricoh but havn't had it developed yet. It's a great little camera with a very bright veiw finder, I think I like it.
Randy your a Minolta man so you'll get this, The Ricoh/Sears KS-1 is alot like a minolta XG-A as it is only A P auto the down side unlike the XG-A it does not tell you what shutter speed it has selected. Other than that it is a quick and easy camera to use and fun to shoot.

Galen, so we shall have to wait a little longer to see the results.
By the way I might give the inner tube idea (for the kens grip) a try, especially if Robert Ross's idea for shrinking the rubber doesn't work.
