I don’t know too much about cameras, however, I recently acquired some cameras and accessories from a family member who told me to “get rid” of them. I was wondering if anyone can tell me more about (what type of camera they are, etc.) them and how much they could sell for, and where a good place to sell them is.
Here is a list of what I have: •Vintage Kodak Tele-Instamatic 608 with Book •Vintage Minolta Pocket Autopak 460Tx no Book •Minolta Freedom-Tele 38-80mm with Book •Minolta SRT 101 with case •Kodak Pony IV camera with Book and case •Gold Crest Exposure Meter Model PR-72 with Book •Vivitar Automatic Electronic Flash Model 252 with Book and case
The person I got them from didn't know much about them either since they had gotten them from their father, and sadly their father passed away.
Any help with be greatly appreciated, and sorry if this post is in the wrong place!
Thanks in advance.

The Tele-Instamatic and Pocket Autopak won't be worth much due to the 110 film which is hard to find. The Freedom-Tele is an okay camera, but large and heavy by today's standards. I bought one for a dollar and later sold it for the same. The Pony is nothing special, Kodak's attempt to make an inexpensive 35mm camera. I sold one recently for $10. The SRT 101 is a classic 35mm SLR that will take a large variety of lenses. It is a rugged camera that, with some maintanence, will work well for a long time. It is a good camera to learn photography with since it is all manual control and the large availabilty of lenses. I have had an SRT 200 since high school. The Vivitar flash is also a good performer. I am not familiar with the Gold Crest meter.

Thanks for the information. How much could the SRT 101 sell for? And would you happen to know of a website or a place that would buy all of these cameras at once?
Thanks again

ksw, ebay and such like are often used to sell cameras. There are other specialist sites: I'm sure others on here would know which are the best.
The unfortunate thing for a seller is that film cameras have, in general, dropped in value with digital taking off as it has. Many really nice cameras are worth very little.

There's no profit in selling film cameras. The plastic point and shoots aren't worth anything. Highly unlikely that the Minolta would fetch more than $20 or $30. The value of film cameras--even high end equipment like Nikon and Leica, is plummeting. A lot of SRT 101s were made. I think the Chinese even made a direct copy.
