One sweet looking dog but I would not want to be on the wrong side of that boy. We got our pup from a shelter also.

Bob, put a pair of glasses on Jude and it could be you. Well they say dogs look like their masters. Jude looks a natural in front of the camera: bright, alert eyes (in perfect focus) - nothing much will get past him. I haven't had a dog for about twenty years. Dave.

Our Asher. Also a pound dog. Don't think I could be happy without a dog around--especially since retiring.
We almost adopted a Greyhound that had been rescued but Asher crossed our path first.

Your dogs will keep you fit: they look fit. I can understand that occasionally someone will buy a dog and not be able to cope, but I'm always surprised the number that end up in the dogs' home. It is good that many end up in good homes. The last hound, Rina the Weimaraner, spring 1974.

Beautiful dog Bob but being the big nut that I am, he'd have discipline problems for sure not to mention exercise problems. I tend to spoil mine rotten and hope they listen once in a while. Best dog for my energ/exercise level might be a cement one or a wooden one.

Jude is a good boy. But he strong! He listens well to me....as he respects me. The only thing I have a hard time with is getting him to slow down a bit walking in the snow and ice.... This old man needs him to go slow.....we are working on it.

Bob,
He looks like Buster Keaton - A sad face but a mischievous twinkle in his eyes.
"The only thing I have a hard time with is getting him to slow down a bit " Tie a couple, or more, bricks to his collar. He just might enjoy hauling them around.

Mickey--I kinda see what you mean . Instead of bricks how about a heavy flask? Bob
