About 3 years ago, I bid on a Pentax camera case that I assumed was for a Spotmatic. When I got it, the case was like new, but it was little. I was about to cry foul to the seller, when I noticed my wife with my Fuji STX-2. I asked, "what are you doing?", and she said, "hey, this case fits the STX-2 like it was made for it", and I decided to keep the case for the Fuji. It has the Pentax Logo with the eye like my other cases. Does anyone know what Pentax camera this would be for?

I have a Pentax IQzoom 160 that has the general shape of an SLR but smaller. It is 5" wide x 3" high x 2 5/8" deep.

This case has the old pentax logo that hasn't been used since the early '60s.

It sounds like a case for the ME, but it didn't come out 'til @'79. I can't figure out what other Pentax was that small back then. Roy

My guess would be that it is for one of the pre spooties cameras such as the S/H series. The very early ones such as the Asahi Pentx and the K etc tended to have hard cases. If it has a bulge on the top, then it is definately for one of these as the bulge was for the meter.
