I thought this was pretty interesting: last 24 hrs--6 Staff Members, 13 Members, 199 Guests
199 Guests....too bad more don't step up and join eh? We don't usually bite---LOL.

I'm here. I'm here.
Big grocery shopping expedition today and then wash washable fruits and vegetables and put everything away.
Being the man of the house (I am the only person here) and a housewife and a char and a seamstress and laundress and a Mr. Fixit is no easy job. I am really not paying myself enough.
Furthermore the weather is not conducive to taking pictures.
So I am, indeed, here in spirit if not in body.
I need a nap.

Hi guys ! Like Mickey I am also the man of the house, besides I am 10h at work and 3h on the road. It is snowing here continually since two days, today about 30cm ( 12 inch ), awful weather for driving. Only took one picture last week. MIK

Hi Randy--60+ hours at work last week (Black Friday week!(@$#@% ) left time to grab a bite to eat, play the trivia game and a few hrs sleep. Haven't touched a camera in almost 2 weeks! No wonder I'm about crazy!! No "SHUTTER FIX!" Roy

The PC went south a week ago and finally got a new laptop up and running. It will take me a while to catch up.

Every so often everyone has a spell of other things on the go. A forum, like much in life, seems to run in sinus wave pattern. The wave flattens as the number of contributors increases. At the other end there is a critical mass, below which there are insufficient people, and hence posts, to keep the forum looking "fresh".
What I don't understand is the number to whom the title of guest is given. I don't know if it the same for everyone but, in the last few weeks, I have been getting the message "you need to login or register to view this forum": that is to say I can not see any of the posts unless I have logged in. Once logged in I cease to become a guest. Is this the same for all of you out there?
Of course 199 guests does not have to be 199 different people. It could be the same person looking 199 times, or viewers who then log in.

Had to put my best friend down yesterday. Didn't go quietly, not pretty. Not much interest in cameras right now, sorry.

Curt
So sorry to hear that. Our deepest condolences! Been there too many times. It is tough. We put our Husky down in May..... End of July we did get another dog....a rescue....a Dogo Argentino. And just 2 weeks ago we had to put down one of my favorite cats.... It is never easy.... I feel your hurt....
