The Pentax M42 project/database/registry has been revived. With the blessing of Nigel Utting (the originator of the M42 Pentax project) and access to his huge cache of statistics--I have been able to get it up and running again. In an effort to keep it as low cost as possible and to get it up quickly and easily--I chose to use a forum format. Feel free to check it out. It can be found here: pentaxm42.proboards.com/index.cgiIf you are so inclined, feel free to join. If you wish to add Pentax M42 cameras and/or Takumar lenses that are not already in the database--just email or PM Admin. (me) with the info. and I will see that it gets added. thanks Bob Iozia

Bob,
I find the black type on dark green to be very difficult to read. I do want to read it.

Mickey, if you go into your profile, there's a button that says skin. You can choose the blue and it will look just like it does here. You have to scroll down and save the changes.

John--I don't think I know that site. How long has it been gone?

A year or so. It had a fine display of German 1950s and early 60s cameras, and a section on photographic magazines of the time.

I've just checked for chromeagecamera.com on the way back machine, and it disappeared in May 2008.

OK.....then you can view it via way back machine.
And then you can copy the data right? and possibly the photos too.
