Jumping back over a month, I shot this at about 8:50 a.m. on November 7. The sun was peeking through some clouds and illuminated the tops of some of the trees in the park across from our house. Nikon D50, 20mm Nikkor lens. Had to shoot on manual to stop the camera from overexposing the image.

Gorgeous sun-lit colours and just a month ago, compared with what we have today.
How about underexposing in the old-fashioned way by setting exposure compensation to -1 or -2 stops?

Hi Wayne ! That`s funny, I did an autumn picture at the same day ( sunday ) and around the same time ( about 9.00 ). It shows nearly the same colour I remember that day and the time, because I was on the way to visit a friend. MIK
