I took this shot maybe 15 or so years ago. It was taken with a Mamiya ZE-X , which I had to sell a few years back, using a 50mm lens and Kodak Plus-X film. That's all I remember. I came across the photo, an 8X10, in a folder yesterday, and thought I'd share it. The Church was the first in Binghamton, 1830 something. I don't have a scanner, so I copied it using my FinePix s5200. I really miss that Mamiya, it was the best camera I ever had Doug

The church looks a grand building. Is it still there?
My mothers parents were married in a church in Birkenhead (St. Marks) which was pulled down in about the 1980s. I did manage to find a few quite poor photos of it on the internet. It would have been nice to have got a decent quality picture of it. The vicar at their wedding was H. Leigh Mallory who was the father of George Mallory who died on Everest in 1924. His other son Trafford Leigh-Mallory was the WWII Air Chief Marshal.

Hi Doug, The coarseness of the picture creates a special atmosphere. Nice church MIK

Hi guys! Dave, the church is still there. It was an Episcopalian church, now some other denomination uses it. MIK, I think the coarseness is due to the paper I had it printed on. The negatives, which were in the folder with the print are very sharp. I really miss that Mamiya, it had some of the best lenses I've ever used. Doug

Doug,
You need to get yourself a scanner.
Dave.
