Some Lynx 500 photos

Today was a heavily overcast day after a night of rain and freezing rain. If I did my part by holding the camera steady and focusing properly The results were good enough. I think the lens might be a little flare prone but otherwise OK. I think that if I get the internal RF glass cleaned up and track down the meter problem it has a good chance to become one of my favourite cheap and cheerful RF knock about cameras. The last two photos show what I think is flare.

Those are not bad at all Bob.

The last two look like flare to me - it might be worthwhile trying a lens hood, although that won't help if there's a light source directly in shot.

Oh no - you've got me thinking again Bob. I've always had an affinity for Yashica rangefinders, although I thought I'd overcome it when I'd got to 3 Minister IIIs. But I always liked the look of that Lynx.....

Go full out and get the Lynx 14e and let me know how it performs. Gotta love them Yashicas.

Yea, trying a lens hood is on the list for the future and it can't hurt.
