I have had people tell me recently they cannot see my photos and my website. The website is www.diecastdeluxe.com and I need people to click on it and tell me if they can see it or if it works. I'm paying a lot of money for that website, and if I'm not getting what I'm paying for I need to know. Thanks |

I can get on form this computer using Firefox, nor can I using Internet Explorer.
I've just tried from my wife's laptop and the website can't be accessed from that either.
Both are running Windows7, 64 bit.
I have mislaid my notebook at the moment, but I'll give that, and the older desktops, a try later - in a day or two. (I think they are all 32 bit windows XP).
I see this had been a problem for some back in 2002.

Thanks folks, the host of my site says they have had to block certain IP numbers because of spammers, and the only people that won't be able to see my site are the people that use the same provider as the spammer. He says it's to keep the hackers out. But it's unfortunate that some can't see my site. Thanks again!

Randy, not only is it unfortunate but it is somewhat illogical answer to the problem. Taken to its worst conclusion, and there was one spammer on each provider, everyone would be blocked. I don't really understand why he has not just blocked out the IP number of each spammer rather than the whole provider.
I've looked at other diecast model sites: I can get onto them with no bother. The question is how many others are in the same position as I and, therefore, how many are taking their business to your competitors.

Randy, just seen your message and tried to access your site but I can't view it. I'm on Windows 7 32-bit. I must say that on this board I sometimes can't see the avatars and sometimes have to reload the page to see images.
Just noticed that it's your avatar that I can't see Randy. All the others show up OK.

Thanks Rachel, I moved my avatar to my Photobucket account, you should see it now. Daveh...I don't have any competitors, I'm the only guy in the world that makes the things I make.
I noticed Rachel and Dave have the same internet provider. 88..etc....
