Do any of you out there have a digital HD camcorder and edit MTS files? I have yet to find an editing programme that works anything like as satisfactorily as those used to edit the older AVI files. I presume Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 would do a good job, but it is about £750 too expensive. I did download a trial of Premiere Elements 9 from Adobe (which I would buy if it worked all right), only to find it doesn't seem to run on 64 bit Windows 7.
I might get the old cine camera out. I have still got the old cutter and splicer.
