My Scooter will go ca. 55 mph even with my big ol' keester on it, and gets 75 miles per gallon. I'm not overly concerned with the gas prices ;D I must admit, however, that I resent being told that I look like a circus bear on a mini bike when I drive by I'll get a photo posted if anyone's interested. Our Ford pickup will probably average somewhere around 12 miles per gallon pulling the trailer. But if you factor in how much we would be spending if we had to get hotel rooms and eat out every night, the gas costs are more palatable---still not cheap--but just a part of the cost of a vacation. There still are some camping fees but $12 to $30 a night is considerably better than $60 to $100 a night plus eating out every meal.
