hi all,
is it true that Ultrafine extreme 400 iso is re-brand of Ilford HP5+ ?
Until now, I only read that Arista 400 as a 'copy' of HP5+.....

Didon, I gather from the lack of response so far, that we don't know.

Didon, Check out freestylephoto.biz They will be certain to answer any questions you might have. If not, they might be able to direct you to someone who can. I hope that helps If you ever get the chance, try a roll of Ilford SFX 200. I've got some exposures I took with it around here somewhere that I'll try to find. Great film, but a bit pricey. Doug

It is, but then again it isn't. It has an extended sensitivity into the near IR range, but can be exposed as a regular B&W film. Like I said, I've got some photos I took with this film that I exposed using an ordinary Vivitar No.25 Red filter. They came out very nice. If I can find them, I'm not very organized , I'll post a couple of the shots I took. I'm pretty sure I know where they're at. Doug
