I took my Tamron Adapt-All II 80-210 out for a workout the other day, mounted on one of my Pentax P3n bodies. There was a stream of Blackhawk and Kiowa Warrior helicopters passing over my house (from the squadrons shown in the Yashica GSN thread of a while back). 210mm Suddenly, of to the west of the big choppers, I heard a strange whirring sound, and saw an autogyro doing its best to keep pace ;D, and failing miserably! It was followed by this ultralight. The ultralight was traveling so slowly that I had time to go inside, add a 2x converter to the mix and take this. The next morning, I was awakened by the sound of a Huey under load, very near my house. It was another in the locally owned fleet of crop-dusting Hueys. He was dusting a crop of sunflowers growing in my favorite field. 210 mm At the opposite end, I took this shot at almost the minimum focusing distance at 80mm: All shots (except for a little cropping of the autogyro) are as shot, with no post. This lens is going to Las Vegas with me soon for the birth of my grand-daughter. It seems a very capable lens to me. Does any one else have experience with it? Roy

Good morning Roy.
The nearest I got to it was an Adapt-All adapter in Topcon fitting, which I bought more than thirty years ago. It was my intention to buy that zoom but I never did. The adapter is still in the box. As I remember it, that lens always got a good write up. Your photos prove the point.

Roy,
I have one and have been very happy with the results. But It now is used very little as I bought a Quantaray 70 - 300mm for its longer reach in both close up ("macro") and distance.
