I just attempted to buy an unworkable $16.00 camera.
With shipping at $59.95 the "bargain" suddenly lost its appeal.

Shipping from KEH is only $9.95 to here for a camera size package. I needed the little plastic cap for the film advance lever on my ME Super and it cost me close to 15 bucks from Ebay. It might have come out better to find a dead camera.

I don't understand the reasoning for postage between the US and Canada being so high. It's just a border. Must be politics.

I looked at that site, Bob. I suppose that sort of camera would be good to practise on. Postage to the UK was about the same as Mickey mentioned - presumably the shipping cost is bumped up to anywhere other than the US. However, it's a bit surprising to find that it is that much to Canada.

I don't understand the reasoning for postage between the US and Canada being so high. It's just a border. Must be politics. It is probably due to the high cost of having the courier strip naked and then open and reseal all his packages and get dressed again after being x-rayed and patted down. Border security y'no. (That translates into politics.) Mickey P.S. Look. 1898
