Hello all. I started school on the 22 of August and its going good so far! A few times after class i walked around downtown Minneapolis and took some street shots. These are really my first ever "street" type of photos. I also have a roll of ilford pan f+ (50iso) in the 2.8E3 for street, so we'll see how they turn out in a week or so. Here is the entire gallery. andysphotos.zenfolio.com/p146131288Andy

Andy, I like that. I hope someone was riding shotgun for you so you didn't get run down.
Street photography, as I understand it, is really the people and not the street itself and the buildings: candids rather than architecture. I suspect you knew that as your street is in inverted commas.

No I was stopped at a light and took that pic, which was the only picture taken from my car.
I now see that "city shots" would be a more appropriate title.

It's a fine series though. I had a look later.

I was walking around downtown today for a bit longer than my previous outings and have uploaded more pictures to my site. The new pictures are numbers 22-42. I also revised my title of the gallery to city/street photos, mainly city types of shots though. Here is the link again. andysphotos.zenfolio.com/p146131288Andy

Good work, Andy. I think you have an eye for architecture. Keep it up!

I used most of these photos for my Composition class and the teacher thought there were pretty good!
