Hello All,
I'm Mike Zimmerman, a professional photographer (http://mzphoto.photographers.com) and camera collector.
I have a little over 80 or so items, and I try to add something whenever my wallet permits. My specialty is WW2 cameras, equipment & ephemera, and that's starting to become the toughest & usually most expensive items to find.
And now a favor, I saw some images here of the Photo-See "instant camera" from the '30's & '40's. I have the camera & tank, but not the manual. Would there be any chance of obtaining a copy of the manual, either scanned or just "xeroxed"?
Id be willing to pay a reasonable amount, along with postage.
I've stared at this thing, along with a few other photog friends, and would just like to know how the danged thing works!
Interesting thing, I also saw here that most of the Photo-See cameras suffer from rust, but have good boxes, mine is relatively rust free, but the box is a bit crumpled...
Thanks for giving me intro into the group, and I'll be around from time to time.

Welcome Mike. I think you are the first member specializing in WWII camera. Probably takes a lot of hunting to track down examples in that area.

Mike,
Welcome to The Camera Collector.
I have seven Photo-See cameras complete with boxes and manuals. That is probably too many for any one collector.
There is some minor rust on all of them. The boxes are useable but not in the greatest condition. I think someone must have stored them for years in a damp cellar.
I have attempted to clean them up a bit and have used a little Vaseline on the rubber pad inside the developing box as most of them were sticking to the cover.
I can mail you a manual gratis.
Just send me your snail mail address.
There are members who have collections of numerous cameras from the 30's and 40's although they may not have been used by the military.

Mike welcome. Your galleries are obviously the work of a professional - which of course we know as you told us.

Mike
Welcome to the forum. I enjoyed your galleries especially the one with firearms. Been out of the shooting scene for quite a while but would find the "bullpup" AK interesting to try out.
