Hello,
I've been collecting for over thirty years and have tended towards rangefinders.
I must say that eBay is the best thing that's happened for my hobby.
I have recently fallen in love with the Ricoh 500 and it's big sister, the 519. I have one of each and am looking to buy another 519 in better condition.
I am also trying to locate the dedicated lens hood and supplementary lenses.

Hi Brian,
Glad to see another new member. I have a similar interest in Ricohs, both SLR and RF. I have a couple Ricolets,a 300, 2 Elnicas, 2 Ricoh 500's and am still looking to add a 519. Nice solid old rangefinder cameras.

My wife bought me an iPad. and I'm finding my way round it.
This site looks very interesting.
There is a nice-looking black 519 on eBay now. Too expensive for me!

Hi Brian,
A warm welcome to the camera collector ! I have only two 35mm Ricoh`s in my collection: a 500 and a 35 ZF ST, and a Ricohmatic 44 TLR, never seen a 519 here. Just had a look at the internet, the 519 is a great camera :-)

Welcome. County Clare is a great place. We went to a wedding in Liscannor seven years or so ago - great craic.
