Hello. I have just joined I wish to share my website with you: www.leitzmuseum.orgMight sound backwards but I am the collector and my father is the webmaster of the site. I haven't added to the site for some time now and only about 60% of the site is complete. No time lately and ran out of enthusiasm for a while. Bruce

Welcome Bruce and thank you for posting the link to your very interesting site. I have it bookmarked now. I can well understand an interest in all things optical. Once you get going there are so many avenues to explore with one leading to another. I hope you can regain enough interest and time to complete your fascinating site.

I never stopped collecting, I still buy a camera a week on average. I just haven't the time to photograph the stuff and create powerpoints for each item. Perhaps This winter I will catch up on at least one section.

Welcome, Bruce. Nice web site (they're fun to make, aren't they?) Mine is Collecting Mamiya 35mm. ------- edit: I've been collecting for over 40 years. It's habit forming.

Welcome Bruce and father,
Yours is a remarkable collection.
Perhaps "collection" is inaccurate. It seems to have assumed the characteristics of an excellent museum.

Perhaps This winter I will catch up on at least one section. Yea, I guess the easy part relatively speaking is the actual acquisition of the cameras. The tough part is organizing it all for your museum site. That must be very labour intensive and time consuming to do. One of those things you just have to be in the mood to do. Personally I have never gotten around to even inventory the small collection I have never mind create a site. My hat is off to anyone who does go to the effort. Bob

Always in the mood to collect, getting around to the website is harder, but I try to keep up.
