Good Evening Members,

I'm new and joined just a short while ago, My origin is from Kelantan, Malaya. I came to settle in SW of France 10years ago when I retired.
I caught the camera collection virus in 1965 when I bought the Nikkormat FT to record the birth of my eldest daughter and she's now getting close to 50!!
I still got the Nikkormat and it still works just as the day I bought it, attached is my favourite range finder that I use from time to time.
Going through the forum, you guys are great and I'm sure I will be able to get a lot of pointers as well as valuable information on camera collection from you, Thanks for having accepted my application, Regards

I didn't have to look your name up even though I took Spanish and not French in school. But it's not that I am some kind of lanquage prodigy I just have watched NCIS on TV to many times. (One of the re-occuring bad guys was named Le Grenouille) ;D

Thanks for the welcome, There's certainly some great stuff on this site and I'm enjoying every moment when I am on this forum.
The whole thing started when I would not part with my old camera each time I upgraded, so with the years, its like being hooked on opium. Definitely better than opium, Cheers and have a nice weekend

p.s. it always good to know what you are ordering from a restaurant menu in France. Frogs legs are quite similar to chicken.

Thanks for the welcome, believe me, once you have tasted frog legs you will always prefer it to chicken. Sadly this dish is not so common in our area. Its duck land in the Tarn & Garrone.
Here we have our famous Cassoulet (cooked with ducks) and Boudin (sausage stuffed with pig's blood and onions), I better stop, I'm getting hungry, Cheers
