Dawg, Nice looking camera. I'm surprised it works, I've yet to find one that does. I haven't found a motormatic that works either.

Both had stuck shutters when I got them. I don't recommend anyone getting one as a shooter as the meters most often no longer work but I've been lucky so far that the ones I have do work. How much longer they will work is not certain.

I have an Automatic 35F which is almost identical to the one here except for a pop up flash on top. This camera is the straw that broke the camel's back. I bought it on e Bay. It is a beautiful looking camera but when I received it I discovered that some ham fisted goon had been at work on it. It was a wreck. All my various attempts to contact him - or her - or it were to no avail. That is when I decided not to buy any more cameras from e Bay. I had been deceived too often. From then on all my purchases were from known reliable sources or were carefully inspected by me. There have been no disappointments since then. Why must I always learn the hard way? Upon reading the instruction manual I found that the camera is not one of Kodak's better products. Particularly its less than reliable zone focusing system (Thank you Mr. Butkus.) Mickey

As Doug said, this is really a nice looking camera ! I once found a working Motormatic on ebay . What is the difference between a "Automatic" and a "Motormatic" ? I pressume, the winding mechanism. MIK

MIK, The difference is that big knob on the left side of the base plate. When fully wound it will allow 10 individual exposures without further winding of the film. Mickey

Mickey I've been disappointed several times myself Mickey. But living in rural Alabama doesn't lend itself to many opportunities to look at and hold old cameras. Ebay is still the easiest and best for me.
