Sorry for the delay in reply, have been babysitting my granddaughter the last few days.
I'm not far from the 2 places you mentioned, about 45 minutes car ride. The N113 passes through my village, we are between Castelssarrasin and Montech.
My village is between the Canal du Midi and the Garrone, quite a popular region with tourists.

Thanks for the invitation. We went to Paris and Brittany in the summer of 2009, and The Vendée in 2010. We didn't get over last summer, nor, as it stands, do we have plans for heading to France this year - but who knows where we shall end up.
