Hello! I am only on here to give away a camera and lens to someone who will get some use out of them. They have both been sitting in a box for over 30 years and I know I will never use them again. The camera is a Yashica TL Super with an Auto Yashinon DX f50 lens. Also a Auto Yashinon DX f135. Both in the original leather cases. Both still in excellent condition. Bought the camera in Viet Nam in early '69 and the lens shortly after in Okinawa. I would be happy to send them to any collector who will give them a good home.

Larry, hello here. I'm sure someone will find it a good home. I bet as I speak that Doug has the map out to see how far you are from him. Expect a knock on the door any moment now! Dave.

Hi Larry, and welcome! Dave knows me well, I live in Binghamton and would definately give them a good home. Send me a pm. Never went to 'Nam, but was at Vietnamese Language School in Ft. Bliss when they declared the war over. I was cross trained as a photo interpreter instead.
Dave, It's quite a distance from here (a 3 hour drive actually ). On the map, it's south of Albany, NY, the State Capital. I live more towards the Finger Lakes, about half way across the long straight part of NY on the map.

Larry,
Does this mean we won't be hearing from you again? If so it's a shame: I bet you have some interesting photos and stories to accompany the camera. Doug will certainly give it a good home.
Dave.

I went through a lot of Ektachrome film in the late '60's while in 'Nam, as well as Hawaii, Okinawa, and a bit of Japan. I started scanning some of them a while back because they have started to deteriorate. Never finished the job but getting the old camera out has revived my interest. I may hang around and post some, or I may start a website to post them on. Either way, I'm sure you'll hear from me again.

I got the camera today that Larry sent to me. It's a very nice looking camera, and I'm looking forward to restoring and using it. It's going to be a fun, interesting project! It looks like all it needs is a good CLA to get it back on it's feet. Thank you Larry, so very much Doug
