I think you are over exposing slightly. Try cutting back 1/2 stop or more. Your colours will be more intense. You can correct in Photoshop.

I think Mickey is right, but it's presumably the camera and not you which is overexposing things a little.

I would also try to cut back one stop first. You can change it easily by setting the ASA one number higher than what the film really is.
Mickey is also right. A little bit of postproduction ( does not even have to be photoshop ) helps a lot. Film is forgiving and captures a lot of information. Sometimes, you can get even something, if the picture is pretty messed up ( but a correct exposure is of course better ).

Thanks for all of your comments. I was shooting in the full auto mode just to see how close the settings would be using a 1.55 volt alkaline replacement battery. I can see if I want to shoot in the full auto mode I will have to make an adjustment to the ASA setting. I didn't run the picture through any processing software as I wanted to post them as is to get your opinions. Also I had the pictures developed, printed and scanned by a third party and the prints came out great, very bright and vibrant colors and not looking like the were overexposed.
Thanks again

The battery could be the problem - too high a voltage compared to (I presume, I haven't looked it up) the mercury original.
Of course it might just be that the people who do the scanning just don't do it too well.
The underlying photos I really enjoy. Thanks for posting them.
