Hi All!
I just read that Polaroid is making a comeback, and is going to start producing cameras and film again. They already have two digitals with onboard printers in their line-up, and are making a new camera & film too. The prices seem reasonable. It would be nice if they would support some of the old formats as well.

I hope so because two people I deal with have asked me (just in the last fortnight) if you can still get film for a Polaroid? I just tell em to go Fuji. But wouldn't it be nice to drag out that camera from the 70's, er 60's. No wait a minute 50's & bung some film in for your 12 shots NOW. It would be good.

I have a beautiful 110A which is languishing for want of some film.

It's ironic, my first digital camera was a Polaroid.

I noted a few weeks back that some instant film was available. The trouble is that it isn't cheap. I've still got one "roll" of original Polaroid unopened. I thought it would be worth hanging on to it.

I little bit off subject by along the same line. I was looking through my instant camera collection yesterday and discovered that one of my old Kodak instants still had film in it. I knew it was useless but I said what the heck, I'll try it anyway. I put batteries in the camera and made a few shots. Of course the pictures all came out black except for one that would normally have been nearly totally washed out and in it you can barely make out some of the subject in the blackness.

Polaroid was wonderful when on holiday for taking a shot of a "local" to give to him or her, while keeping one or two in the "proper camera" for oneself.

They are only good for display.

Ron,
That's what I figured. I haven't looked at the expiry date but it was probably about ten years ago.
