Hello from the Isle of Man,British Isles! I dearly hope that maybe one or two may have heard of our little island? We are between the UK and Ireland, and a self governing Dependency of the UK-a bit like Bermuda without the sunshine! Any bikers will of course know us from the road racing here! Well,I`m a collector/user-more user really, but adding one or two 35mm classic SLRs now. I`ve always had a soft spot for Minoltas-from an A5 to an X-300 and an X-700,which I both use, plus a Nikon FM3A if I get really serious! Greetings to all, Invicta.

Welcome Manx Man from Man.
I have always felt your cats were missing something.
I, too, am a collector/user but I rarely use the ones I collect.

Welcome to the forum Invicta ! The only thing I know about your island is of course the TT-race and some historic railways. I would be pleased if you show us some pictures from your homeland . I do not have many Minolta`s in my collection but many others Greetings from Austria, MIK

Hi,
Welcome and glad to have you share your passion with us.
The only Minolta I have is the XD 7 and its being used quite frequently, we've always have cats in the house but never a Manx.
Regards
Hye

Invicta, moghrey mie. my grandmother was a Cannell. The family came over to Wirral in about 1880 when her father was working on the Mersey Ferries. As you can see, many people have heard of the Isle of Man.
Dave.

It'd be interesting if you could post some shots of the IOM. On a (very) clear day we can just make it out over the Irish Sea from the top of Thurstaston Hill (just half a mile from us).
