Hi Folks In an effort to complete (in my mind) my SLR collection, I need to just add 2 more brands of camera to have all the brands I wanted, represented. So, once again to make space and help the cost of doing so, I need to offer up a camera for sale. This is (to the best of my knowledge-which is lacking on rangefinders--I'm really an SLR guy not a rangefinder guy) a Kiev 4A rangefinder. I know there are many sub-types of the 4A and anyone with knowledge, feel free to sub-type it for us. Anyway it is very clean and all appears to function as intended. I have owned it for about 6 years. I have never put any film through it. There is no take up spool with the camera. Price is $50. and $8. shipping US and $12. shipping Canada. And I will allow a 3 day inspection period with a money back guarantee within that time frame of receiving it. Cost of returning it, is the buyer's. No love for the Kiev 4A? Wow, I am surprised. Before it goes to EvilBay....let's try $40. plus the shipping mentioned previously.

Hi Bob! I'm kinda new to this sight, and never looked at the classifieds. Any chance you still have the Kiev available? I hope so. The only Kiev Cameras I ever see are from Europe.
If it is available, is there some way you can let me know? I'm not exactly computer savvy.

Yes, it is still available. And it being already in the US, makes the shipping affordable.

Hi Everyone! Jim here. Well, I want to thank Bob for the opportunity to get a Kiev Camera for my collection. And I don't have to pay for shipping from Belarus! What a treat.
And I want to thank you for the informative strings/threads (?) (I told you I'm not very computer savvy), about aps cameras you guys were having. I got so interested, I went on ebay and bought a Canon ELPH camera with a Buy It Now deal. The only APS camera I have is a basic Kodak I got at a garage sale, but it has a bunch of rolls of film with it. All for a buck!
I'm very glad to have found this site. I finally have people I can talk to, who don't think I'm nuts for collecting cameras the way I do.
You'll be hearing a lot from me.
Thanks again Bob, and everyone else too.

That's super. Bob, had you been in the UK I might well have bought it. As you say it's good it's gone to a good home.
Jim, thank you for those words, though I'm not sure I have actually helped you that much. Don't forget to post some photos from it sometime.
Dave.

Thanks Bob and Dave!
I sure will shoot a roll and post some photos. I haven't shot 35mm film in about 5 years. It will be a novelty, especially with a Russian camera!! But I'm looking forward to it. I'll have a money order in the mail by Tuesday morning.

Oh, by the way, I spent over an hour at Ron Herron's website today. He has a great collection and everyone should see it! Very impressive, Ron! And very informative, as well. Thanks for all the great info.
