Bob,
I am fond of country fairs.
They are always colourful, cheerful and smell so good. The displays of home made foodstuffs for the competitions always impress me.
The temperature is almost always within my limits of tolerance.
And, as you have just proved they make for good photos.

I would have to agree that small fall agricultural fairs are a very pleasant environment to wander in. You just can't help but get a couple photos there.

Nice photographs, a shot from a Fair and Ploughing Match in Kent, UK, on an Edixaflex, on Fuji neg, and scanned. A wonderful pair of Shire horses on a demonstration of older gentler ways of ploughing. Stephen.
