Hi All! Anyone who knows me, knows that I collect old prints and graphics. I have quite a collection and would like to share a couple of them with you. I love the look on this guys face Old religious pamphlets sometimes have very cool graphics on them. This one is probably from the 1940's. There's no date so it's a bit hard to pin down. This next one is from an old wartime magazine I found. I get a real kick out of how folks in the past pictured what the future would be like. I find them in old magazines (which don't usually cost more than a dollar or two). I think they look great matted and framed. Doug

I get a real kick out of how folks in the past pictured what the future would be like. You're not alone Much of my photography is done in and around abandoned rural houses. These buildings are certifiable time machines where you can sometimes stumble upon old books, magazines, posters and calendars. Graphic design of the 40's, 50's and 60's was amazing, reflecting those "happy times" in a way that cannot be put into words.

somewhere.....I have a box full of old 1950's Popular Mechanics and another box of Model Engineer of the same era. There's some wonderful stuff in them. When I find them I'll scan some of the best bits and post it. There is some photography related stuff in them if I remember rightly. I need to climb in the loft space though.

I saw a japanese book in a book store recently, which might please you then. A collection of old adverts and comics from the 50s and 60s ( as I remember ), illustrating our present time, which have been the future in those days. Amazing, how many visions really became true
