Hello, Mike from Morfolk here. I found this forum on the internet but noticed when I signed up that if I try to sell anything or ask for valuations I will be removed (why?)
Well, I must confess that the reason I sought a camera forum was that I had a camera to sell and was not sure how to go about it. I inherited my late father's Voigtlander, his Weston light meter and some accessories and although they have some sentimental value I know that I shall never use them. It seems sensible to offer them to someone who will love and enjoy them.
So what I'm asking for is advice. Where should I go to sell these items? I don't fancy eBay as prices achieved for most things (including my speciality, old records) are a lottery. Is there a forum devoted to selling and trading cameras? Or perhaps there is a recommended camera exchange type of shop near me (I live between Wisbech and March).
Ladies and gentlemen, if I am here under false pretences I apologise, but I will listen keenly to any advice which you care to offer. Thanks in advance.

Hi there, My name is Doug. From upstate New York. I'm sure that if you wanted to post something for sale, we do have a classified area to do so. There have been some, however, that have taken advantage of that to try and sell all kinds of junk, that's not allowed. Randy can explain it better than I can. There's also Ken Riley's site. I'll include a link for you to check out. It's a good site, and they have a marketplace for photo items. He will also give you an estimate of your items' value. krphoto.com/Good luck, Doug

We have had people join to sell anything from hats to sexual aids. We have to draw the line someplace.
